Exhibitions at Royal College of Art

Royal College of Art / Innovation Design Engineering

Graduate show, 2006

Exhibition design by a. thabo, Kofi Aidoo, Rachel Ghazaros and Gregory Epps.

The 2006 Innovation Design Engineering graduate show was organised around a working 60-foot conveyor belt. Looping through the gallery, it carried students’ work on individual display platforms, bringing the projects past visitors in a continuous sequence.

The show was developed in collaboration with Anglepoise and Eco Marketing. Oversized Anglepoise lamps lit the displays; bespoke folded cardboard structures held the work and its supporting information. Large-scale printed graphics completed the installation, bringing industrial equipment, familiar objects at an enlarged scale, and lightweight display structures into the same space.

Kofi Aidoo

We remember Kofi Aidoo, our dear friend and colleague, with whom Adam designed the 2006 show. May his memory be a blessing.
